Whats next?

The cleveland cavaliers bowed to the orlando magic in their game six of best of seven playoffs.  Despite ,efforts of the cavs and their big dream to be in the finals. It  remained an elusive dream not only for the cavaliers fans but to the "King " himself.  Lebron james scored an average of 38.5 points and 8 rebounds and was heroic in their second game with a buzzer beater winning shot.  James displayed awesome performance in their bid to take it to the finals, but "Superman" Dwight  Howard and  the rest of the magic has grabbed the slate as  the team to face the L.A. Lakers in the NBA finals.  What’s next of the cavaliers? or to Lebron  James? That  is a question that many cav fans are eager to know about.

Getting Back

Its been about three months or so that I haven't posted on this blog.  A lot of things had happened yet I didn't find time to update my blog.  Could this be laziness or plain belligerence?  I'm still tryiing to figure it out.  I was concentrating on something else that I failed to allot some time for this blog.  Taking responsibility of updating a blog requires discipline and strict persistence.  A virtue that I still need to nurture for myself.

Sad Truth

It's been a stressful week.  I had my blog submitted for review to certain paid blog sites.  It's quite frustrating to know from my sister that I could no longer submit for pay per post, since bravejournal was no longer included in  its list of domain for review.  I was a bit discouraged. Having known that she earned big bucks from payperpost using her bravejournal account.  Well, Luck was on her side.  Blogging life must go on. This is just a trainng ground for me to do better in writing and to developed a distinct style in conveying my thoughts and creative imagination.  Its a sad truth to know though as an old adage says "hope springs eternaL."  The challenge to persevere in this precept has just begun.

Just do it

I am back here at bravejournal.  Its been a while that I wasn't able to post anything.  Well, there are too many reasons, este excuses to mention.  Hehehe!  On top of them was procrastination.  I fell inlove with the comfort of "maniana habit." Its my struggle to break lossed from it.  But I fell short many times.  Good thing, we humans are endowed with will power.  The  famous words from nike "just do it" has become my spiel to ward off temptation to procrastinate. Its a work in progress though all I need is getting organize and manage my time wisely.

My pagerank

Its been a while that I haven't posted for my bravejournal blog.  I am quite focus on my job right now.  I needed to meet my metrics so that I couldn't be ding by my program supervisor.  When I checked on my bravenet account just this day, It surprised me to see my page rank with a question mark. When I checked at PR Checker.com.  It displayed the results as

Web Page URL: http://gio3rd.bravejournal.com
The Page Rank:
- N/A

IMPORTANT: N/A (not available) - it is not possible to show any pagerank now.

The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised
     as a supplemental (
Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google.

So, I guess my pagerank was down to nothing again.  I hope its just a glitch or if its not.  I just hope I could have that pagerank as soon as possible.

Taken

When I watched this movie.  I was awed by the skills  of a  former C.I.A operative played by Liam Neeson.  He relied on his military skills which he learned thru  years of service.  These skills helped him saved his estranged daughter who has been forced into slave trade.  Watch this movie.  Its awesome!

Tired

I am getting weary of my call center job and I'm yearning to trudge a different path than taking calls everyday.   Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th president  of the United States of America.  I am hoping that there will be more favorable changes in the immigration process as we Filipinos yearn to go to the U.S. and work there.  I am hoping that I could practice my PT profession in the states after I could work out on my necessary credentials.  Its been two  PT board exams that I flunked. I would have to shed more sweat and blood, utmost dedication and perseverance, when I hit my third and final slot in taking the board exam.  It would be a make or break situation for we are just allowed to take the test three times.  After which, we are compelled to take a refresher course, which means another expenditure.  God forbids! That it won't happen to me. For now, I'm feeling tired of the unchanging graveyard shifts that our team has.  Just recently, I was abruptly transferred to a new team with a new supervisor.  Its quite frustrating, though I and my new teammates are hoping that he will institute change on our skeds.

Consider This

In our pursuit of personal excellence. We are confronted by trials and obstacles. This may come in the form of financial, physicall, moral and sometimes plainly envirinmental. There are people in the history who made their way through reaping success without yielding  to any obstacle.

Consider this:

  • Louis Pasteur was only a mediocre pupil in undergraduate studies and ranked 15th out of 22 in chemistry.
  • Leo Tolstoy, author of War and Peace, flunked out of college.  He was described as "both unable and unwilling to learn."
  • Alber Einstein did not speak until he was four years old and didn't reas until he was seven.  His teacher described him as "mentally slow, unsociable and adrift forever in his foolish dreams."  He was expellled and was refused admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School.
  • Beethoven handled the violin awkwardly and preferred playing his own compositions instead of improving his technique.  His teacher called him hopeless as a composer.
  • Henry Ford failed and went broke five times before he finally succeeded.
  • Babe Ruth, considered by sports historians to be the greatest athlete of all time and famous for setting the home run record, also holds the records for strikeouts
  • Manny Pacquiaohttp://www.thinkphilippines.com/tl/world-class-athlete/the-pacquiao-vs-marquez-rematch.html
  • Born into life's hardship. Rated as the no.1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world by the ring magazine. The first Filipino boxer to win four diffferent world titles and weight divisions.

HAVE A BREAK

Mrs. Dimatucal called Juan to recite in class.  " Juan, give me a sentence beginning with 'I'."

Juan hesitated, and then slowly muttered, "I is the . . .?

Mrs. Dimatucal frowned. "No, Juan.  You must say ' I am,' not 'I is'."

"Alright," Juan said.  "I am the ninth letter of the alphabet."

Help again

Its quite difficult to be a newbie or a starter in any certain field.  Like for example, being new to a work environment or job description entails adjustment and coping up with technical work issues certainly brings headache and undue stress.  Its nearly two months since I've been working as a technical support agent for a certain American based company.  Performing my task within the scope of our accounts support boundaries posed a great challenge to my daily performance. The product knowlege which I learned from our training only accounts for only (10) ten percent and the rest to my discovery was (90) ninety percent self-education.  It is by this precept that I managed to improve my stats performance and resolving sometimes trivial and bizarre concerns from our customers.  They say that, " Rolling stone gathers no moose ", this statement best illustrates that man should continue to learn from his end be it by doing, thinking and by being.   Just like my experience when I first tried to blog. I was really confused what to do and what to write.  I even had my sister update my blog on my  behalf . He he he! Now, I am going to consult again the wisdom of my elder sister where and how to enrol for paid blog sites.  I bet. Our tutelage encounter would end up in a squablle.  Just like in work, I needed to deal with irate customers. Much more, if you had an elderly teaching you how to blog for a profit. Joke! he he he.
